In a doll's house inside a castle the Aristotopes live the best of rodent lives: delicious foods prepared with leftovers from the rich Count's kitchen, evenings in front of a TV that always and only shows cheese and beds shaped like wonderful bathtubs. There's even running water!
One day, however, the castle is restored and made new and the doll's house seems so ugly and old in comparison that it has to be thrown away... the thirteen mice devise a disastrous plan to return to the golden times.
