The country mice decide to celebrate Carnival just like the city mice do: there will be parties and banquets, confetti and noisy trumpets, everyone will dance and wear scary masks.
But when evening falls and the moon is high in the sky the masks become real and the mice forget to be innocent and peaceful, they become scared and suspicious... they even forget that they are mice!
In a game in which the balance is upset and the mice have lost their identity, only a friend of theirs, without a mask, will be able to put them face to face with the truth: it's nice to be yourself but also to have new experiences, the important thing is to learn.
