Hugo and Boone seek adventure in the Great Outside World. Hugo wants to become a sailor, Boone a cryptozoologist (that person who believes in the power of wishes and always finds something interesting and absurd in caves). Hugo lives in the Cave Against the Way and can't go out alone, because he's still learning to sneak and hide from the creepy humans, Boone just wished he met a bigfoot.
